They need to find each other because their linemate has yet to make an NHL caliber pass this season.
Heineman would be a good complement to Dach and Monahan

The highlight for me though happened away from the game. The young anthem singer came on the screen.
My Uncle: Tabarnak, I'd let her play with my Wazzzoo!
My Aunt: Tabarnak, why would she want to play with your old, shriveled up Wazzooo?
So who do you sit when Matheson is back? Are you gonna send Jackeye/Harris/Guhle down to Laval so you can keep him in the lineup?
I'm not saying he was terrible, his play away from the puck was good but you're bound to have the puck on your stick in hockey..
Maybe it was nerves or w/e (he was definitely in a tough position), i won't write him off after 1 game.
Not planning any parade.... That's Toronto's line.
The ultimate upset Montreal beating the Dirty Bruins after being down 3-1 in the series.
Zednik getting two goals in game 7 with the help of Kovalev and Koivu.
AND it was only a "bad pinch" because of the extraordinary Dadonov turn over that should of been a scoring chanceGoing to repeat...for a first game and probably with just 1 practice under his belt.
Kovacevic was *very* good...poked checked the puck several times on leafs zone entries, he was physical and except for few bobbles and a bad pinch at the end, had a great debut.
Good find by the pro scouting team.
They don't! Ran out of time in preseason to experiment with line combos. If Caufield-Suzuki and Monahan-Dach continue like this it will be very difficult to finish bottom 5. I’m afraid however the 3rd and 4th lines don’t match.

Hughes has given St Louis a lot of psychological saftey to emphasize development over winning at all costs. That’s good leadership. I don’t know if that mindset has existed in habs history up to this point.Incredible that we haven't heard anything like this in a decade...
While we shouldn't overact about the win, neither should we overact when this young defensive corps makes the inevitable mistakes that costs us games. Its going to happen. Such is the price of team building.. Matheson's absence was mostly felt on the power play. Wideman is a journeyman. As I noted earlier, I would much prefer watching the uncertainty of promising high end prospects than the certain mediocrity of run of the mill journeymen. I would sit Wideman and play those exciting young defencemen. Let them learn and develop together. Its going to be a bumpy ride. But its going to be fun. And when was the last time we had fun watching this team?I'd consider sending AX to Laval or Sitting Wideman.
I think management want Harris to develop on his natural side though so AX to Laval may he needed unless Matheson can play on the right. If he can sit Wideman else AX being on the top pairing with Barron would be fine.
niggling?lolI was hoping he'd be a half step quicker this year but with that niggling injury he's actually a half step slower. The thing is he just knows when to go BOTH WAYS.
Honestly I'd leave Anderson with Dach and Monahan. They were together for Monahan's goal (due to a long Andy shift) but they look right together. If Caufield-Suzuki and Monahan-Dach continue like this it will be very difficult to finish bottom 5. I’m afraid however the 3rd and 4th lines don’t match.
AX to. Laval still need to see more of Harris not sure yet on him but great game for everyone.I'd consider sending AX to Laval or Sitting Wideman.

I don't get the Savard hate since last year. He's fine for our rebuild, perfect partner for Ghule this year and he's a drama-less Qc player that does his job. Sure he could lose a few pounds but oh well.
Hoffman and Dadonov, now that's something else.
For a bunch of nubs, they player much better than what I was led to believe, though I was under the impression that offense would not be so difficult to achieve.Hilarious game, so fun to have that ending
I thought the defence looked really solid tonight all things considered. It was the forward group full of vets that struggled more than the defence with 4 rookies.
That play was baffling lmao. Dadonov went full controller disconnectedAND it was only a "bad pinch" because of the extraordinary Dadonov turn over that should of been a scoring chance
He had team high 6 hits as well
Play all rookies on D and make the fans happy 81 games left need to be a bit realistic mixing Vets and rookies. Now teams will have film on these guys so cautiously optimistic. While we shouldn't overact about the win, neither should we overact when this young defensive corps makes the inevitable mistakes that costs us games. Leafsnet panel looked like they were at a funeral.not even the greatest team in toronto, there are enough retired players and unknowns that can put a team together and beat the laffs,, I could not resist turning the channel to leafsnet after the game tonight.
