Proposal: Habs in the off Season

Does anyone think clearing salary and signing someone like JT Miller would be a good move? Say clear Weber, Petry, Drouin, even Price’s salary and get a forward with grit, leadership and can score? He’d be great for Suzuki (and Wright) in my opinion.

Far more then what the Habs would offer.......Jets spent years trying to get a top 6 center with 1C potential so they aren't trading him.

They should trade Mark "bonehead" Scheifele instead.

I wish. Gallagher's contract is going to be an anchor. It's long, for too much $. He'd clear waivers at this point.

I'd be very open to seeing him moved for a bad contract in return, if it's shorter, simply because I don't want that anchor contract using up cap room when we start an upswing.

Here is where someone says Suzuki and it starts off a whole another thread that already exists.
Jets have no reason to trade Dubois who beyond his own numbers has helped Connor achieve career bests. Mtl has no reason to trade Suzuki.

Stay the course. Maybe we get lucky at the draft this year and next, Hopefullly some of the guys have a better season next year and we can make some deals at the trade deadline

we dont need Dubois we have the chance to draft Wright or Cooley this year and another top end center next year
