Habs could use help on their third pairing, Desharnais + a mid round pick or prospect (or Habs retain salary on DD) for Schultz. Schultz could help play PK and limit Markov's minutes on it, Weise played well with DD on the third line last year and maybe could help get him going offensively.
Don't see them trading Schenn and it would cost more than we think... I'm probably off but they will want one of Pacs, Gallagher, etc. We won't get him for McCarron + a pick. I think this is more likely a look at Streit or MDZ or maybe Manning? Lot of D prospects ready to step in soon for Philly and that's a need for the Habs.

I wish Max an okay birthday. Not too great but not horrible. Preferably somewhere around his level of play this season

If Max is involved, it's likely something that was Schenn + that was suggested.

It doesn't make sense from either teams standpoint IMO to trade Simmonds for Max Pac.
If it's Max Pac. I fully expect the deal to be Schenn + something for Max.
It's probably something much smaller, like Mdz or Streit or Schultz for picks/what have you.

Opinions vary and peoples perspective on other players is almost always going to be different.
I'm fine with you guys if you don't think Schenn + is good enough for Max.

Fans can pardon a player who works hard but doesn't get the results, but there's no excuse for someone with talent who doesn't work hard, unless of course you're Kovalev and one of the most talented players in the world.
Pacioretty will end up with 30 goals this season and no one will remember more than 3 of them.
