Yeah, but the thing is it shouldn’t be an ‘’accelerate rebuild’’ they need to take their time with this and let it play out and see where they are each year. It’s when you try to make some addition just to try and make the playoffs not for the long term but only for now that’s where you know your rebuild won’t be successful.

New-Jersey is an example of a team who grew from a season to another and got better as a team without major addition.

I’ll point out that NJ lucked out with the 1st OV (Hughes), and these effers moved up a lot in the draft since Hischier, signed Dougie Hamilton, and just started their domination.

Definitely better then - Blackhawks, Ducks, Sharks, Flyers, Yotes, Blues,
In the same tier as - Nucks, flames, Preds, Jackets, Caps, Wings

That puts us in the 7-13 range which is what Im expecting this year
