How ever said, you are correct. The reason good players
don't play in this tourny, is that they have learned it is a bad
mistake. Or team mgmt, agents, trainers, and just family and
friends help them understand this.
After a season that is too long, and contains too much travel,
getting on an airplane to Europe to play in more games,
instead of resting a bit, and then training for next season
is just bad.
And you are talking about players who play big TOI in the NHL.
