It was hilarious watching the looks on Montembeault and the Team Canada bench!! Nobody had any idea that was an international hockey rule.

Monty is playing very well. Gord Miller and Mike Johnson were raving about his play and the season he had for the Habs.

Switzerland has some star power and I thought had a chance to win this tournament. They also looked very convincing in their win against Canada. One less serious contender is good for Canada's chances.

Samuel Montabeault is having a good game. Really curious how he develops next year. If the coaching staff can implement a system to limit the high danger chances he might have a breakthrough year.

I mean that makes more sense. If he wasn't under pressure and covers the puck that's delay of game, but a Finnish player was right there! That's why he changed his mind & covered it.

What a dumb call.

Canada now leading 3-0.

Sweden-Latvia tied at 1 going into 3rd. Upset?

Swedes tied it with only 19 seconds left in 2nd.

Yeah. It's crazy that refs at that level screw up such a basic rule.

Would be interesting to see what kind of point Slafkovsky would have put up with if he had gotten to play with 2 NHLers on his line and then and NhL d core. He had 9 pts in 8 games, I wonder if he could have gotten 2-3 more points and gotten close to or tied Laine’s numbers.

If anything I'd say Fantilli's play could help Carlsson move up to 2nd lol.

At the world Juniors he was pretty underwhelming and forgettable compared to his College performance and same for this tournament.

What a freaking game by Silovs! Latvia beats Sweden 3-1 to advance to SF. Unbelievable.

Crowd was insane and that fan zone had thousands upon thousands of people in it. Amazing crowd fans.

Canada vs Latvia in SF, but it moves to Finland from Latvia now.

USA vs Germany in other SF.

It's nice to see him continue his great play as of late. I think we were all scared that this season was a flash in the pan and he'd regress after hurting our Bedard odds lol. But his play here has me thinking he's truly taken a step forward in his development this past year.
