If it wasn't 't for Monty in nets, I'd be on board with you. I'm loving these tight elimination games for Monty's development and experience.I can't lie, I wouldn't of minded Latvia winning this one lol, for hockey growth purposes
Phew!!!And it's done!
Canada is moving on
For sure, huuuuge huge Monty fan hereBarron not seeing any ice with the lead in the 3rd. It's all Weegar and Myers on the right side.

It was never all black with Bergie. It was a great pickup.i have to admit, i was not a fan at all. I thought another useless pickup by MB.But boy he proved me wrong ,
I am on board now. He keeps on improving.
Oh i agree, it was not all black. but i had thought he was a bad pickup due to his performance not for the fact MB picked him. He did improvce all the facets of his game. Kudos to himIt was never all black with Bergie. It was a great pickup.
He's such a simple person too. Very nice kid and his play is gaining tenfold. His confidence was shot when he came here. He was slaughtered his first two months and then he kind've got in a grove, while playing injured. Mad respect. For sure, huuuuge huge Monty fan here

Good analysis and comparison to Modano. I always thought Stamkos/ Richer, but the more I see of Fantilli, the more fluid he looks than my comparison. He’s clearly the most dynamic skater on team Canada ( he hit the goal post earlier in the game) and that elite skating ability is something Bedard does not possess. One can only image what this kid will be able to do in two to three years when he grows into his body. What's intriguing with Fantili is that he's still figuring out how to use his arsenal of tools and what type of a player he should be, he's still quite raw. If he fully comes out of his shell in the pros, with proper development and all, he could really be a force. A good coach could really unlock him and turn him into a Mike Modano 1000+ games, PPG type.
