Sidenote: Even last year I felt like Ghuele was our best blueliner. Is there anyone who doesn't think this now? Matheson has some skill but I actually think Guehle's already the guy.

Guhle was on Antichambre where he was asked questions by Houde, PJ Stock, Fiset & Carbo. Before they let him go, Houde mentioned that Guhle had a question for Carbo. Guhle asked Carbo if he will have to change his number soon. 
Carbo told him he's asking the wrong guy and that he's proud that Guhle is wearing #21.

100%. You saw it almost right away that Guhle is a 1D in the making. He's steady back there, great shot blocker, gets physical, has an active stick. And he contributes offensively. He's currently on pace for a 40+ point season.

There isn't a question that Ghule is the best dman. He has great defensive iq and untapped offensive potential. Marty is keeping him off the powerplay so his points total stay low so he his contract extension will cost less.
