Have a feeling it's Fehervary.
Fehervary is Washington's 2D and main leverage/matchup defender on an absolute bargain contract for two more playoffs. There is literally zero chance he is traded.

That is easy contact BU and surrounding news. Oh, that's right you can't anymore unless you use the d@rk web. Boston Globe several different places to find info.
Elite Prospects, central scouting others that are pay sites.
Juloevi's scouting report was glowing but the eye test showed no progress and should not have been drafted that high.
Behind Pettersson now. Both have similar scouting reports but Pettersson's game is moving forward against professional players. College hockey is not pro hockey. The cream of college can make a big impact but the rest may take years before seeing NHL ice on anything like regular time.
College is really good for late bloomers but even top players sometimes take years. Gaudette was really good.
He’d be a great add but he’s also second on the Caps in TOI/GP so it seems unlikely they’d look to move him. They run a pretty even defence but he does their heavy lifting on the PK so would be a big loss.Have a feeling it's Fehervary.
Rick called your ass out Vector
He has value, just not much. People like MS and I saying this will be proven correct.Hopefully the hoglander is garbage, no value and would clear waivers narrative pushed repeatedly by some is dead, and they're objective enough to sauté some crow..
But more likely will hear how they were actually right again instead though.
In reality hoglander, like other young fast skilled players wuth proven potential, will have value until they're pushing thirty and more washed than mik.
Would need to know for sure that Hronek will return. Otherwise, just treading water swapping Hronek out for whomever they trade for when it comes to playoff and advancing. Were not going super deep with the D they had going into the season. The surgery option sucks for Hronek but if he could return for the playoffs in 5 months that would open up a bunch of LTIR possibilities for us on the trade front.

Like I said looking forward to hearing how they were actually right again. He has value, just not much. People like MS and I saying this will be proven correct.
Garland is a 1st line quality player at 5v5 (gee, where did the people saying he's not a top-six forward go?) and the Canucks couldn't get anyone to trade for him when they were trying to move him. You think Hoglander has more value than Garland?
I've never said he would clear waivers.Like I said looking forward to hearing how they were actually right again.
Comparing a million dollar 23 yr old to a multi yr five million vet makes no sense, but interesting to see some justify their poor opinions instead of just admit maybe they were incorrect, just like ppl.were on garland and boeser.
Hoglander has more than "not much" value. Ppl saying he'd clear waivers are and always were incorrect.
He'll return something decent and useful, nucks aren't going to have to attach a 1st to hog to get effing Provorov or Lindgren..

I think absent the extension, this argument would be more valid. I think the $3M AAV extension weighs down his value. You can find guys to play bottom-six, sheltered offensive minutes off the scrap heap every offseason.I think he has more value than Garland had but purely for reasons that have nothing to do with on-ice play. Hoglander makes barely anything this season, no longer a flat-cap world, this crop of GMs have become obsessed with cost control, younger than Garland, and even though Hoglander is small Garland is abnormally small.

He wouldn't be getting $3M after this season.
That part wouldn’t have been true. They wanted Willander but that was a non-starter for the Canucks so there’s no info on if they would have asked for me. The McGroarty for Yager deal would have been comparable.
I just don't think some of these GMs are thinking through this logically.
sorry dude love you and all, but if that's all it took for jiricek, see ya
columbus would've been a big lifestyle upgrade on abbotsford anyways
what.Hoglander
- Penguins are one of the teams that are very interested
- Fits the type of players that the Penguins have been adding; uses Cody Glass and Philip Tomasino as examples
- His contract extension makes him more attractive to teams
- Penguins are not the only team interested
- Canucks management are telling other teams they don’t have to make a trade and won’t be taken advantage of
what.
yeah.Friedman literally said this. They like that he's signed beyond this season.
