I kinds thought they might have thought they could get him.
The Sprong trade opened up his cap hit.
Canucks would have the space to put Fabbro on the team at least it seemed that could be a possibility.

But then Sprong wasn't a boards guy, a Tocchet guy. He sheds those pretty quick so maybe it was just that.

I think Sprong will come back to haunt them

When you play a structured system to limit high danger chances, most shots should be in the expected save category.

So when you have Silovs performing like he has and Lank’s performance last night, it gives way to terrible numbers.

Not really. It's pretty disingenuous to put any real stock in those statistics. We're only so low because Lankinen just allowed 7 goals which is more than the last three games in played in November combined. If they're counting the season as a whole, Silvos' numbers are pretty abysmal. Which is why Winnipeg's so low.
