No. We face Swedes in the semis if we beat Canada in the QF.
A volume shooters best part of their game is a one-timer which doesn't hit the net even 10% of the time?Um. Yes. Yes he is. What of it?
And what I answered to a swede who hoped we'll face in the final that we can't.That's what I said. We play Canada in the quarterfinal.
yeah its a lot closer between Germany Switzerland and Sweden then it usually is. Sweden dont often play good when they are favorits to win.
Hilarious to see the suomis freaking out, I really liked the game (as a neutral observer), it was much more competitive than any games OAR or Czechs played - decent speeds, some hits and fights. Despite the fact that the swedes won, I still think Finnland is the top contender to sending our boys home (and many hope it will happen)
I don't care whose fan you are. You're spewing shit. He hits the net more often than not. How much exactly have you watched Eeli?A volume shooters best part of their game is a one-timer which doesn't hit the net even 10% of the time?
Look, I'm a NSH fan. We need him in the lineup currently in favor of someone like Aberg or Hartnell to dish the pucks to the net. He just misses A LOT.
This almost made me rip out my hair. Also before Lepistö passed the one-timer chance to Tolvanen, Kontiola had all the time and space in the world to dish it to Tolvanen himself, but instead he opts to pass it back to Lepistö. Low IQ hockey all around. The last shift from Hietanen was a good example of why we've struggled with scoring and creating in so many tourneys.
Trying to force the puck throuhg mass without looking other options.
These kids seem to have different level IQ's than our dear fair play veterans.
Love how you go on a tangent trying to educate me on what a volume shooter does. My argument wasn't his shooting% it was always his one-timer accuracy which is really bad. He needs to train it along with his decisionmaking towards shooting or not shooting when he has the possibility of controlling the puck like he has had multiple times this tourney.I don't care whose fan you are. What about this guy called Ovechkin? Did you know that his shooting% is usually around 10-14%? Do you know how much he misses the net? Take any random season from him and you'll notice that 50% of his shots miss the net completely.
I don't think you know what a high volume shooter is.
He has probably had like 5 one timers in these 3 games. 90% of the time he takes control of the puck and plays it forward. Please stop. I have eyes. I can see what's happening in the games. I've seen Eeli play like 50 times this season, i know what kind of a player he isLove how you go on a tangent trying to educate me on what a volume shooter does. Good game, of course deserved win. Couldn't post earlier because Couple of calls against Finland got be absolute raging, the dive tripping, how was that not also a dive call for Sweden. Also Konnas big hit in the 1st was clean AF, Swedish player tried to play teather for the ref. Those things just get me going lol
Despite of that, again, a good game and nice learning process for our team to get to play against a good team. If Sweden was sleeping this game, I would've been worried because our first true test would've been in too important place.
Current top 5 Finnish skaters are in this order
1. Barkov
2. Granlund
3. Aho
4. Rantanen
5. Laine
The main reason why many Finnish hockey fans rank Laine kind of low is perhaps because he didn't want to particiate in World Championships last year, this one is still hurting a lot?
I don't know...both Germany and Switzerland can be scary opponents in the quarterfinal. Remember Belarus & Slovakia.
was scratched by gronborg beacuse he dont think Dhalin is a better fit than any of the other D men.Hey Swedes why Rasmus Dahlin didn't play today is he injured?
Calle Johansson great in the studio, should work on cmore
