Nice dominating shift by Laine there, but good thing Jalonen plays them like bottom6 lines on ES.

Finally. They woke up, but a little too late. Hope it carries over to period three. Absolutely horrible game so far from them.

Still can't understand why Jalonen doesn't play Barkov's line more.

Clearly dominating.

Jaakola is an expert at hitting the US guys...Is there any Finnish D that can actually get the puck on net?

What a shift by Laine and Barky. Jalonen, please let these kids play some more.

Laine mad in the end, this makes up for good 3rd.

God damn those IIHF refs at their finest.. Terrible calls both ways killing the flow of the game.

I hate Jalonen. Maybe Laine-Barkov-Jokinen will get 3mins in the 3rd? Would be a progress...

Ice time is one thing, but the fact that Laine is being played as a RW is hilarious. It's so obvious that he is way better on the left side.

Nice shift by Finland but no goal. Hanifin was the MVP of that shift though, great poise.

Carolina has a stud. And they have Aho, damn!

Nice work by Laine down low there but when Compher got on him he muscled him right off the puck though. Laine seems solid at protecting the puck with his body though, his good hands helped too. Adding strength will help him a lot there.

That would work. Without checking, watch them have the same middle name or something :laugh:

@twitterhandles?

2nd name aka middle name?

That's probably the simplest way

:laugh: I'm talking nameplates guys

I think one is S. Aho and the other is Aho. That seems the most logical way.

Good shift because Laine was playing left side there. Why on earth do they force him to play secondary wing for good of Jussi Jokinen who has done absolutely nothing in this tournament so far outside one good pass.
