And Laine gets his second shift, plays clasic jagr puck protection move and draws a penalty. Nice! :handclap:
 
And the offensive zone chemistry in Barkov's line is all but good enough against the top teams. I wonder how KJ justifies playing the less important lines over the lines that really have to be world class when it counts.
 
I've said it before and say it again, Hietanen is useless as a shooter on pp, he's done now what 5-6 brutal plays in these 2 games from there.
 
They're using hietanen as trigger guy :laugh:

Why do coaches always need to try some freestyle.

Its because no one gives a flying F over how much this game ends. For an experienced hockey watcher the entertainment in these games is all about fresh players with future ahead of them - not with some old boring faces in their decline earning the ice time with achievements from 5 years ago.
 
Im starting to think that the best thing we could do would be playing 5 attackers on PP. Hietanen, Salmela and Lindell have sucked ass this game. Stupid decisions and bumping pucks. Our defense is really bad. Atleast on the offense
 
I'm seriously questioning Jalonen and his decisions. He should roll the best lines to make them click. Our best line gets a few fringe shifts in third. What the heck is that?
 
Lindell is useless. Only thing he is good at there is his tendency to shoot. But it doesnt work if

a) you have 3 better shooters on ice
b) you miss the net
c) You miss handle 50% of passes today
 
I feel sorry for our forwards when all of our D just shoot straight at the first german player on PP to waste half of the PP time. Also seem to be bouncing alot of pucks, Lindell especially. Not saying the game is going bad, but it could be better.

I dislike Jalonen as a coach. I think Pihlström has played more minutes than Laine this game. Here is not the best Team Finland possible, but the coaches own pets. The likes of Pihlström, Pyörälä, Salmela, Hietanen dont belong here.

We have a game tomorrow against the US, this game was over at 4-0, no reason to tax players too much.
 
Laine is ****ing sick. 4+2 in his two first World Championship games. Guy just turned 18. What a talent!
