Congrats for Sweden! I don t like this swiss team and their kind of goal celebration.

Absolutely. Larsson has much more skill than the role he's required to play in Edmonton. It's quite sad really. The quality around him suffocates many of his qualities.

When he first came to the NHL he played on the #1 pp unit together with Kovalchuk.

Then NJ turned him into Jeff Beukeboom...

BENCH ERIKSSON FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Not only isn't he on the bench where he belongs, he's even on the #1 PP for some reason. He just skates around like a doofus out there, I have no idea what Grönborg sees in him. Death, taxes and plays dying on Loui's stick.

That wasn’t what I was saying what I was pointing out was that it really wasn’t as close to the best team Sweden could ice as he would like to believe.

Look at my initial posts in this thread and you’ll see that I am by no means underestimating Switzerland, I know they’re always damn good in this tournament. I do however think Sweden has moore room to improve than Switzerland does.

Also unrelated to your post:

BENCH ERIKSSON FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

m.kempe instead of loui.

Lundqvist is something special... the Brodeur fan in me always looks at consistency to judge a goalie.... Lundqvist.... a legend, he kept the Swiss from tying the game and he will soon hit the 40's? crazy

Fun game. Watching us play the Swiss I always feel like they are going to win. Somehow we pulled it off yet again.

The game was pretty revealing. We don't have an abundance of difference-making forwards.
