According to text play by play the Russians are dominating and having enough scoring chances but unable to convert, is that correct ?
That is very correct.

Is it too late to give Svechnikov's roster spot to someone else
Very worrisome
They had a ton of chances but the shots just weren't falling today. Add to that refs from Canada and Sweden, and it was a tight situation. A win is a win.
after the group games i can say that provorov is a beaut and svechnikov is a hot garbage.
I think they're having a 'mental block' against a team that's not quite their level.
Game-wise they were ok, the game had the feel of a safe 4-1 score even if the result says otherwise.
I can not say any bad word towards our team. They played well in general. Tough, nervious game... happens, but such games are good before playoffs, won't let you relax much.
New Year is coming, see you in 2016, best wishes for everyone![]()
Nah, Provorov was alright in these last games but he was terrible in the 1st.
I have seen Russian teams dominate lesser opponents in past years and then crap the bed in the medal round.
They don't need to empty the tank here. Save it for when it matters.
