I'm not liking this game at all. Our boys are playing half *ssed, not using their chances, making many errors.

Man, what's with these breaking sticks .... is something up with the ice in this arena??

Russia should let Czech to be 1st in the group to play vs Canada in the 1/4. If we're going to win the tournament, it doesn't matter, when to play vs Canadians, and knocking them out of a medal zone will be sweet.

And what if we lose? That's too risky , let Finns knock the Canadians out

Not too impressed with this Russian team

Russia has been playing very mediocre in group stages for the last few years, I don't know if this is the lack of motivation or they are saving up for the medal round , but they are usually playing better come elimination time

they are usually also more skilled than this year's edition. it's great that we are looking to finish 1st in the group, but this group is admittedly a weaker one than group A

Well to me it looks like the Russian team has learned its limitations along the way. They play a hardworking style, which is how they're gonna beat better teams.

I think they're having a 'mental block' against a team that's not quite their level.

According to text play by play the Russians are dominating and having enough scoring chances but unable to convert, is that correct ?

They're playing ok enough ... just nothing is going in. Lots of chances, the conversion of chances is extremely lacking though.
