I know, I want our brothers to get some wins too - I'll be rooting for them big time in the next game.
But you can just tell how much stronger the Finnish team is, the Russians are having a practice skate in this match (so far at least) in comparison to yesterday. The Finns were extremely tough.
Belarus made it to the tournament, which in itself is an achievement - let's look at all the countries who aren't there - Poland, Hungary, Germany, Ukraine, etc. They're still good.
Well, that was a nice period, though the intensity of the match is of course nowhere near the match vs. Finland.

About Belarus hockey I don't know, not specialist, but looks like they are not taking steps in hockey development. They fight for top division, when they achieve it, they surviving here. No qualitative changes for many years. And it's in country where people love hockey as well as Bat'ka) They should change something, I would like to see their team more often here.
