When Finland are in Semis it is IMO totally unimportant who is the opponent(Maybe RUS,SWE,CAN).The biggest focus is to overome the QF. Maybe to sacrifice the game vs Germany. The Finns would call up 100% vs this German team. Very exhaustig. Better to safe energy in last game. You are right that there wouldn't be a big difference if they play in quarterfinal against Switzerland or the Czechs. They can lose against both easily, also on the paper Finland is against both the weaker team. But is the initial position not better in case they should reach the semifinal when they finish the group as first due to the new semifinal modus?
But ok you might be right it's anyway not very likely that Finland reaches the final with this roster no matter against whom they would play in semifinal.

Too bad Ylönen can't get the nod for France, that would've been fun!
I think Finland goes up quickly 2 or 3 nothing in this game in the first period. Kakko with a goal.
Really makes no sense, Kakko was super effective on the right point in Liiga. I'm sure he would be the best on the team at running the PP from there, as is he's completely wasted. This PP is complete diarrhea. 3 on 5 and the plan is the D shooting from the blueline or B point? Kakko's role is to be behind the goal? Wtf.
Big mistake if he gets a NHL contractKaski is dreadful to watch. He is bad defensively, he has no offensive vision and his shot is average at best. Good for european leagues but not for NHL. Lehtonen has more NHL potential.
