Finnish goalie was absurdly bad. Every goal was weak. He doesn’t belong to this level.

And Kakko is ridiculous. I haven't seen a more complete 18yo Finnish player since Barkov.

Not sure if we ever saw that kind of dominance out of Barkov either, but it's real close.

I don't put that goal on Veini either -- I thought he made the stronger saves over the last couple of periods and Schneider looked shakey throughout. Hate that it ends on a disputable play.

Full marks to Kreider for his retrieval and board work, doing the dirty and unglamorous stuff to compliment Gaudreau and Eichel today. I thought that was the US best line.

agreed. Kreider has done the little things here to help this team out. that line should be dominating - Kane and DeBrincat with Larkin should be rolling teams as well..not sure what is off with some of these guys, but a month off has hurt this team as every player we selected were from non playoff teams..
