I hate when Ristolainen declines. He never has a real reason to say no.

I'm not going to be mad at a player for declining after playing a full NHL season. "I don't care" or "I don't want to" is a good enough reason for me.

Last year he was all sorts of dinged up. This year he flat out said it was because playing made him feel terrible and he wanted a break from hockey.

Just a guess, but I think he's still bitter when he got dropped in 2016. As for Tolvanen, no idea.

I would consider leaving him out whenever the next olympics/World cup comes around where the NHL is involved.

Eventually a solid starter whether that's in CLB or somewhere else in the NHL. Probably not going to be a perennial contender for the Vezina though. He is an extremely good system goalie but can't control the pace of the game if he's hung out to dry

USA's and Canada's biggest weakness is their coaching. I can't see them beating Sweden or Russia. Possibly it will be hard against the Czechs too.

Might wanna lower your expectations for Germany/Denmark games, can't be the same level of hockey than USA/FIN.
