The game is clearly USA's to lose but I still have quite strong feeling we can beat them as long as we are able to keep it as low scoring game.

If Finland can snatch one point it means that Finland are almost certainly group-winners.

Not that winning the group really matters. Be it Sweden, Russia, Czechs or the Swiss in the QFs are all very difficult.

The tournament-format puts too much emphasis on the eighth game.

Can't see Finland winning all matches in the group. USA 4-2
Heh, considering how we usually play against weaker teams, don't think we're gonna win every game in the groups even if we win today.

USA win, 4-2. I rather lose one in the groupstage then in the knockout stage.

USA is favourite. I believe Kakko having much tougher time against USA because he is most likely scouted by now. He is also almost only big offensive threat on Team Finland so it is not hard to put best defensive forces against him and make him nonfactor. He can be even doubled at some situations. People expect him to dominate again but i think he is going to have quiet game because reasons i listed.

USA-Finland 4-1
