What they are saying ?

It's a mix of bias, over-confidence, whining and unfortunately some more "patriotism" references ... anyhow

Seeeeeiideeeeer!!!! Baby he's so gone by the time the Rangers pick again.

Draisaitl is a Product of mcdavid imo

Imho, I thought this during this game too. We'll have to see. He's playing with Kahun, who's fast, but not fast enough?
I haven't seen him dominate with the national team. Maybe it's the ice. Draisaitl played juniors in Canada, smaller rink, right?

On the other hand, Draisaitl has played 80 games with McJesus, that pace, he can be exhausted.

You're not getting my point. I'm not saying Hockey is the only sport with a GB team.

Those sports have England AND GB as national teams. Hockey doesn't have the option to represent England, only GB.

Weird tho that you guys sometimes play as UK and sometimes as seperate nations... depends on which sport it is...

Ridiculous claim after this season. He scored a lot of points driving his own line.
Also: what a surprise that Drai does play better with a team that is far more skilled than our national team + that he is used to play with. He’ll get his points soon enough!

Since he is outscoring Hughes, Kakko will undoubtedly go first and then the Rangers can grab Seider with the #2 pick.

Always been that way. Individual nations in mostly every sport with very big rivalries between England and Scotland in football and England and Wales in Rugby. Really the three smaller UK countries don't like England.

Governing bodies of the sport determine the national teams. There's a Scottish Football Association, so there's a Scottish National Team. For example, in Rugby Union the Irish national team takes players from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. One is a country and one is part of the UK - but both are governed by the Irish Union. It's to do with the historic make up of the national sporting bodies, and the appetite (or lack of) to break off into separate teams/associations.

Shame about the late goal, but an awesome showing by GB so far.

All credit to the Brits for their good spirit but it must be said that if the Germans play like this in their remaining games they have no business in the QFs.

After the US-Slovakia game we won't have to worry about having business there or not. Plain and simple we just won't be there playing like this^^

Germany can be so frustrating to watch. I am half German, so they are always with Canada as my team (2018 olympics was a time of mixed emotions). It seems like they try to walk the puck in the net sometimes. When there plays work they look great, and I am all for creativity, but there is a point when you just have to start getting traffic and shooting. I was just ready for Seider to slide that back across for another soft one timer.
Bowns and GB have done a great job, but they can be exposed with a little more simplicity at times.

Aighto!

I see! well it's good to see you guys back up here! I'm holding my thumbs for you guys!:)

What a horrible performance so far, but credit to the Brits they came prepared and are playing very well and had several great chances themselves.

I love Seider, but if he is your best player in a game with this roster it is not a good sign.

A game like this is where players like Jonas Müller (is he injured) or Marcus Weber on defense and Marc Michaelis or Fabio Pfohl on offense would have been useful.
