Don’t think he was being defensive, Severson just didn’t “rock” him. He bumped him and Kakko fell, was a solid hit but it’s not like it looked like it hurt or that he crushed him

I don't think you can overlook the clear top tier offensive ability of Hughes though, teams can't/don't pass that up.

I've got to say the Suomi tender is doing quite well. Didn't know him before the game, just figured he's playing for the Blackhawks org. Might have a shot at becoming the backup in Chicago, who knows..

Its an american only thing to sensationalize and emphasize everything. When in finnish hit is a hit or a hard hit, americans would use the words rocked, destroyed or demolished. Even a check that wouldnt hurt a bone in my 85 years old grandma's body is "omg that completely destroyed him" kinda thing for americans.

Doesnt surprise me though. Last night at my work shift I bumped into an american TV show where four guys watched people wreck into each other with cars, vans and what ever they could drive. They were shouting and yelling like it was the best thing ever in excistence. Mindboggling nonsense.

Goaltending has never been a problem for us, usually got a lot of Liiga/KHL tenders who could be starting for us and it wouldn't be a problem.
