Chartier has been absoutely horrible and the fact that he keeps getting top 6 minutes is just... I'm in awe.

Brayden Point is another player that's been pretty bad overall, all though maybe a little better this game.

This team overall has very little depth this year it feels like.

Watching the replay in slow motion, Marner's feet are off the ice before the hit, and he hit the guy pretty high. Pronger physics says they won't even review that though.

Don't care the final result. We're finally playing the Canadian way, the Swedes look shook. This will build momentum for us into the QF's, we've woken up.

The penalties haven't been the result of hits (minus that stupid call for slashing because the guy stick broke his own stick -- joke IIHF reffing as usual). Keep up the physical play

Only goals against Canada have been power plays 5 on 5 we're outplaying the Swedes for sure. They look rattled from the physical play.

I can't even express further how A Nylander looks. So smart and crafty like his father. Also very explosive.

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes top 5 this year.

Mathews
Puljujarvi
Laine
Chuchryin
Nylander

I would also take A Nylander over Big brother William if the draft happened today.
Hopefully big brother is back for the QF. Then this team is tough to beat.

Good to see Marner laying the body. Sad that him, Stephens and Konecny are the physical catalysts on this team though.

This Canadian team is just too young IMO to do anything this year. A bunch of 18-year olds trying to be flashy against much more older teams and it's not working out. They're trying but not capitalizing, not shooting enough on the PP, the PK is a joke, goaltending has been bad.

Konechy's dive....oh dear... That was embarrassing.

Almost as embarrassing as the ref calling a penalty on Perlini. From what I saw, his slash didn't break that stick.

We're taking dumb penalties and the PK looks like ****.

Guess who we're playing in the QFs - the team with the most lethal PP in the tournament, who went 3/3 today.

Really impressed by Gustav Forsling. He's going to be a good one.

Unless they change the ICE to Sand in the NHL, Forsling will not see a lick of success in the NHL. His skating is horrendous. Very high PP iq tho.

In truth the only penalty I can fault Canada for is that dumb Virtanen one to start the game. Since then he's walked the line and the other calls have been pretty unlucky.

Why does Lowry always change his lines?? There's no chemistry because of that and he's not able to understand!

Wow that Marner hit, jumped and hit the head on Grundstrom. I hope he not gets suspended, you never know with IIHF.... Love the kid.
