Barzal barely played. He had like 10 second shifts and barely got on the ice. He didn't do much, but he was never out there. The top 2 lines were always out there anyway, not much room for the 4th line.

People calm down. This team sucks but there is no reason why it can't magically win against Finland. They are a bunch of kids they are always hot and cold.

I wouldn't count out Canada just yet. We definitely suck as a team though.

Some of Canada's players have not had good tournaments, but when literally every single player on the team is doing worse than expected I don't see how anybody can pin the blame on any of them. This team just has no structure in their play, that's all on the coach.

Thing is Marner has the skill to pull something like that off where Virtanen wouldn't even be able to dream about it.

Great game for Konecny, Marner, Stephens and Chabot everybody else looked like trash. Definitely not feeling very optimistic about this canadian team.

Best game... hardly.

He's literally been a turnover machine and lost tons of puck battles throughout the tournament as well. He cleaned up his game and did neither of those things tonight. This was his best game of the tournament.

Most people realize the difference between one desperation play with less than a minute left, and having the same play be the standard move in most situations.

Marner hasn't had a good tournament, but the people saying he's been trash this game clearly has an agenda.

How is there no desperation a few minutes earlier when they're still down?

I hate to harp on Lowry, but Barzal's line barely played. I am really starting to question his coaching deployments.

On close ups of Barzal he looked sick... sure he was suffering from the flu or something, not the same player from previous games.

The Swedes have a fantastic hockey developmental program and have earned this win by working harder.

Hopefully the group comes together and up their game this Saturday vs Finland. Could be a tough match up for the Finns if Canada shows up

Lowry is garbage. You have to roll 4 lines at this level. Short shifts at no more than 40 seconds. Total failure.
