Great photos in hockey history you've just seen for the first time (Part III)

Not a photo, but I've never seen video of the "injury treatment" that led to Mike Robitaille suing the Canucks:

Here's the hit that caused the initial injury, with the ill-advised attempt to carry him off the ice in an upright position:

That was a clean hit by Owchar. Beautiful clean hit (though devastating) Robitaille has got to be smarter than that. I mean my god he had his head down seemingly from the red line, gliding haphazardly, until contact is made in the zone.

What happened afterward was basically the Keyston Cops of medical care

This has really been a devastating time for Quebec hockey, So many of us grew up watching these guys at their best, and to lose both so quickly (neither of them old) just doesn't seem fair

"Wild" Bill Malone and his 9-year-old son, Greg, Chatham, NB. Several of Bill's sons and grandsons, including grandsons Ryan Malone, Brad Malone, and Cole Huckins (drafted in 3rd round of 2021 NHL draft) have played high-level hockey.

Really curious thing about the 1981 North Stars. Hockey-Reference lists Paul Shmyr as their captain, but he only dressed for three playoff games (1 in the QFs against Buffalo and 2 in the SCF against the Islanders). In this picture you clearly see the letter C on #3, Fred Barrett. But Barrett only dressed in 14 of the 19 games, and in the first two games of the Calgary series neither of the two were in the lineup. Strange that they'd rotate their captains in and out like that. Not sure if it was injuries or coaching decisions, looks like in the first two Calgary games they dressed 5 defensemen and an extra forward instead.

Anybody have recollection of this situation?

Photo probably from September 1991, when Jari Kurri came back from Italy to rejoin the NHL, this time with Los Angeles. The season did not particularly well for him, and he ended up a -24 on the season and with Kings' fan booing him when he touched the puck. He looks pretty cool here, though.
