Good thing the league is gonna get us in. CHI wins 4-1

And that penalty on Sekera was just atrocious...given the fact that alot worse stuff took place with no calls. You just can't make that call in a tie game when there were no punches thrown.

The Kings are very fortunate they still have a game vs Calgary/Nucks left.

Also so many games left vs the weakest division in the NHL this year, the Pacific.

Easy. Clarkson.

I can name a few more. One of them plays for the LA Kings currently.

Voice of reason. Thank you, sir. Frustration is boiling over. Kings need to finish the season strong against Vancouver and Calgary.

Hey at the very least we are going to have an epic battle between Brown and Richards to see who wears the LA Kings Green Jacket.

Richards just eagled the 15th and Brown bogeyed the 16th.

Solid game....

Going to need some other teams, WPG/Flames to put up some losses soon.

I think the D will be fine.

The forwards on the other hand :(. The Center depth has killed the Kings in the last 35+ games.

It's a miracle the boy's have won as much as they have in Feb/March.

I just told everyone to get off the ledge, lol, but if Sekera is out, I think we're done. Doughty is clearly a zombie, and the rest of our D is getting dragged down something fierce by Regehr and Greene.

We may survive into the playoffs but without those two firing on all cylinders, improved play from all our big guns, and Pearson returning, we're just biding our time. I guess we can play survival mode, but meh.

Yup.

It's heating up good buddy.

the only guys that have been semi-consistent all season to me are Carter and Toffoli. they both had some bad games and poor stretches, but overall they've been the most consistent all season.

Kopitar slept walked all season and somehow managed 60 points so far. not sure how, since he was absent for at least half the season. imagine the potential if he could stay consistent. this season he surpassed his historical Dec-Jan slumber.

Brown needs to wake the F up. for starters take some power skating courses this summer. i'm still amazed at how easy he falls at times.

Doughty needs to be slapped in the head repeatedly for some of his idiotic nonsense. to me he's the best overall d man in the league, but the stupid **** he does needs to stop. i still believe the Kings lack of success on the PP is largely attributed to him. he is NOT a PP QB, like he believes and the staff thinks he is.

Williams, Stoll, Regehr are gone. there is ZERO reason to bring them back at this point. the only one i would want back is Regehr and that is if DL buys out Greene. Stoll and JW bring nothing going forward, offensively or defensively. Regehr is only effective against certain teams/systems and i think as a #4-6 moving forward due to his speed and mobility.

this summer MUST be a transition off season for the long-term success of the club. if they wish to capitalize on the likes of Kopitar, Carter, Quick and Doughty in their prime; the team needs to turn the page and move onto to the next generation of the Kings.

i'm tired of empty jerseys, wasted games, wasted months and excuses by this team. it is time to step up and perform - EVERY GAME

Sekera said someone fell on his leg.

Ugh, no more leg injuries please.

Edit:

<vent>Greene sucks - put McNabb in for him. Richards - some flashes but still no impact. Stoll is gone. We won't be signing Williams. Regehr should be gone. Brown - what the hell are we paying you for?

Look at this statline: Dustin Brown, RW 75 10 16 26 -14

For the money, that is absolutely terrible. Can you name one player in the league at his salary that is that bad? I don't care if he hits like a truck.</vent>

David Clarkson.

Sorry...you asked.

Watching the highlights again, the two lowest, funniest, most pathetic ones were Saad just blowing by Greene on a chip at the blue line like he wasn't there and then Sadd getting the puck near the dot and just carrying Mike Richards around like a childrens doll before finally accelerating to the net for a prime scoring chance.

I'm amazed these coaches are still playing Greene over McNabb, it's a shame McNabb was playing great before he was benched, I hope it doesn't effect him long term.

It was basically the whole game in a nut shell. Chicago just puts Toews on Kopitar, cancel each-other out. While Saad Destroys the Kings fourth line, textbook Chicago home win.

For some Reason Sutter allows it to happen, by playing the fourth line. The difference in the playoffs was Chicago got destroyed by Carter's line

What really sucks is the Kings now need their game in hand to get to 1 point of Calgary. Even getting a point out of these last two games was critical.

I was REALLY impressed with the job they did on Kopitar tonight. He had not one, not two, but FOUR guys swarming him every time he carried the puck. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that in all my years of watching hockey.

If a team is going to sell out that hard to stop him, he's not the kind of player to break thru that and score, and I don't mean that to bag on him; at that point, we need someone else to step up and it just didn't happen tonight on top of the rest of the comedy of errors.

You guys are angry tonight.

It was a successful road trip at 3-2.

Angry because they played great the first 3 games against eastern teams and then shat the bed against 2 west teams, one being a team they were fighting with. It's all about the next game, not the previous games. Now they really have their backs against the wall in crunch time; let's just hope they haven't forgotten their 2014 playoff run.
