Where the hell was the delay of game penalty for the home fans throwing debris on the ice??? Some of our Leafs were hit with the debris too!!! This should have been and AUTOMATIC CALL with the amount of debris thrown and cleanup time afterwards. The fans should have been taught a valuable lesson!!!

Could be anything, bad streak, injury, bad luck, pressure of trying to replicate last year, feeling of team over personal accomplishments.

I don't care if he doesn't put up big stats as.long.as.the team is winning,.more.balanced/complete and they have playoff success.

That was one weird and exciting game for a Wednesday night. NJ is playing great right now. I thought our defensive play and puck management was better than it’s been. Murray was awesome tonight.

Crazy game. Hey remember how many times we totally dominated teams in the playoffs but got spanked with a few funky goals? We called it "respect" and "how good teams win with D and goaltending". This was a classic solid win against relentless forechecking.

Our team grew up a bit before our eyes and won with D and G. Refreshing.

Matthews play this year is very concerning. Shots going wide and he can't skate without falling.
Bunting also not good this year so he better not be getting a huge contract from us. Last year he was drawing penalties like crazy and this year he's not doing that at all..
Robertson deserves another game he was playing well until that power play. Second line is a lot more dangerous with him on it instead of Kerfoot.

Matthews has also missed a lot of one-timers. And a lot of his shots seem to be turn-around slap shots from the blue line. I'm telling you, something is wrong with him.

I'd like to think that he's just going through the motions of the regular season, being tired of losing in the playoffs, and is trying to save his best for when it counts.

A Hart Trophy with back to back Rockets, including a 60 goal season last year .. I could see him just trying to ensure he keeps himself strong and healthy to be ready for the stretch/playoffs.

They were so unlikeable (fukk Scott stevens) but you had to bedgrudingly respect them because they systematically and coldly dismantled their adversaries. They were frustrating and efficient. I hope we meet them in the playoffs this year and finally avenge our playoff losses to them in the early 2000s. Payback is due.
