IMO they deserved the two points more today than the one point Murray stole for the Leafs last game these two teams met.

Leafs.down three biggest minute.D, on the road, battling a team that drives the net. Devils play the game they way I'd like to see the Leafs play more. Hard, net driving with speed.

I am confident in Gio playing bigger.minutes as he is strong positionally, blocks shots and ties up guys. Was happy to see other D Men carry their weight including a guy in his first game.

Dubas better be busy at the deadline if space is there, some changes up front at minimum with a healthy goaltending tandem, could be enough. They need some harder, more balanced lines though.

Last time I felt so confident about our goaltending, it was back in the late 90s/early 00s -the good old cujo/belfour years. You knew you could count on cujo or Eddie the eagle to steal a game for the Leafs, and they did it often.

Some of those low class Jersey fans throwing crap. Anyway solid win, lots of crazy plays. Weird how goals don’t count if your knocking the goalie and kicking it in. Full marks for the win. Murray played through all the cheating.

That post by Giordano, that save on Tavares. Giordano was a warrior tonight. Congrats to Holmberg, he’s solid.

I'd say Murray has been doing very well, but too early to call it a total succes when there's still plenty of games to go plus playoffs. On the otherhand all the people who hated the deal this is why you wait and see how it turns out before calling for Dubas' head. Only main downside for me with this deal is the amount of salary we had to take back that hurt cap space abit.

Both Samsonov and Murray have played well when healthy yet many people didn't want to wait and see how one or both played before starting with the Dubas bashing.

At American Thanksgiving the Leafs despite having their 1 and 2 goalies injured, missing their top 3 D(albeit Reilly for 4 periods), and the Matthews we all know MIA are 4th in points and 6th in P%.

Not to mention that horrible Western swing.

Weird year.

He took a wrist shot in the first period and after that he had nothing.

Imagine growing up in Ontario or somewhere else in Canada where hockey is tops, working hard all your life to make the NHL, think you've made it to the show only to realize that many teams in the league get media coverage that looks like cable access television and greatest perk of being an NHLer is most people don't know who you are. Then you come back to Toronto... Anyone would have a chip on their shoulder. Sometimes I think it's not that Toronto is so special, it's just a good proportion of the NHL is just semi pro.

Low class or not at least they're passionate. :DD I wish Leafs fans could be that loud and into the game more often although they were damn good during the playoffs last season.

Not that I agree with it either but it wasn’t a benching, they were just changing up the units.
