Great road win! Murray was fantastic. Giordano had a big game and Tavares and Marner keep rolling.

Did Chris Cuthbert say that Matthews has no even strength forehand goals? There has got to be something wrong with his wrist. He doesn't even attempt wrist shots. The one he almost scored on tonight in the third was weak.

No effort? The leafs were blocking shots left right and Center. The devils are one of the best possession teams and incredible skaters. Not sure what you want the leafs to do there? The devils had 3 or 4 forecheckers every shift, it was relentless. Despite that leafs still got odd man scoring rushes and kept the devils to the outside.

You gotta steal games sometimes

Exactly this .. the Leafs did a great job keeping composure and positioning to block shots and keep in lanes against a fast skilled team.

You can really see the difference between a winner like Murray and some goalies of the past like Andersen. Murray just wouldn't let them lose, where a guy like Fred would have been leading the charge

Murray completely shut the door the last 3 minutes and normally when prior goalies mailed it in Murray showed elite mental strength.

Matthews play this year is very concerning. Shots going wide and he can't skate without falling.
Bunting also not good this year so he better not be getting a huge contract from us. Last year he was drawing penalties like crazy and this year he's not doing that at all..
Robertson deserves another game he was playing well until that power play. Second line is a lot more dangerous with him on it instead of Kerfoot.
