OT: Golf 2.0

I’ve been going out to Oakwood and playing by myself the last few days. I find it is helping my game much, much more than hitting balls on the range. I think I’m going to add solo rounds into my routine. Try to get out and do some twilights when it’s not as busy.

I've done 1 round like that so far it's very different but you do focus more on what you are doing. Having said that i really want this to end, i miss all the chitchat with our groups and the money i make off them in snips . :laugh:

Yeah it’s ridiculous, everywhere in the world are opening, but we have the worst citizens anywhere allegedly.
They can’t lose face by simply saying the health care system was only overrun by 30 years of neglect.
So lockdown more because we all know that works :sarcasm:
Shame on all of our premiers past and present for pinching pennies at the cost of lives.

Buddy in our group just told me he was not interested in playing as a single, it's bad enough to have 1 shity golfer in a group of 4 but if he went out as a single the whole group would be shity. :biglaugh:I needed a good laugh today. :laugh:

Not to mention if they are insistent on locking us all up, they could have done it back in late March like everyone else. At least now that the weather is nice we’d be closer to freedom.

We’ve been locked down quite a bit more than likely everywhere else but Quebec.
Saskatchewan was very liberal in their lockdowns and are miles ahead of us.
Lockdowns do not work, if they did the Province would reinstate the former rules but they did not because they didn’t work so now we have new ones as they throw shit at the wall and demean the citizens.
Meanwhile our province is like a squeegee person begging for charity from other provinces for beds and for vaccines from the US

Yep that's pretty much what Ontario did. It would have been hard because we waited all winter to play but way better than missing 3 weeks at the end May and into June just as we are getting warm and our days are getting to their longest point too .

Well said as this isn’t all on Pallister. He has made his fair share of mistakes as well but he also inherited a huge mess.

I was there from 12:00-1:00. I started out rough but had the earbuds like the other guys but it distracted me so I took them out. I was also cold to start with. Once I warmed up I was hitting some decent shots. Some shite too but some good shots.

You’re right it was a much nicer day.

1 pm to say 2:30 or so...

Finished some calls in the countryside in the morning... as I was coming back into the city Alan Jackson started playing "It's Five O'clock Somwhere" and it gave me the idea to pour Myself a Hurricane...

Then head to the range...

I rescheduled My other calls to Friday morning...

I'm the only guy with a black and grey Mizuno Pro Cart bag as far as I have seen at Southwood...

Had to get mine out of the Netherlands this spring... sold out globally...

Still waiting for my order of Mizuno JPX921 Forged... not till mid June ETA...

Look for that...
