As bad as Chabot has been, I really don't think our forwards are doing him any favours. They keep forcing these stupid passes to the blueline and there's nothing he can do with those. Don't like the way the forwards have been defending lately either too, don't seem fully committed.

I want to see something other than giveaways from DeBrincat. He's really not been impressive to me. He had a good pre-season and has since gone to sleep. He needs to work harder.

Question. If Dorion has built such a powerhouse roster, and DJ is an absolutely solid coach, why does the team find such creative and different ways to lose?

For the record, I actually like large parts of the roster, and think a better coach would have them performing better.

But it can’t be both, if the roster is good, the record and play on the ice should be damn better than the embarrassment it’s been for the most part since the 6th game of the season.

It's only been 10 games. It's a combination of inexperience, bad luck and a schedule against good teams.

The Sens have been good. The results just aren't there right now, but these things tend to average out, and we'll start winning more as the season progresses.
