Meh, Provorov didn't force him down, looks like a dive to me. But whatever, the game's over - Provorov was still to have in any way touched the Finnish player, which drew the penalty.

He didn't get a penalty for bringing him down, he got a penalty for holding, for that bearhug. It's visible in the video linked below.

Stop this one @ 1.36.08 and tell me that hug from behind isnt forcing..

What a game.
Finland won and they earned that gold.

When Russia tied the game i was sure Russia will win but thank god i was wrong.
Finland didn't lose any game after that preliminary round loss for Russia.

Russian's i know you're disappointed but be proud your team.
They played well but unfortunately it wasn't enough for gold.

THANK YOU FINLAND.
This win feels SO GOOD.

meh, Finland wins because all the PP time they get compared to other teams.

USA still the best team.
You know, checking the stats before spouting stuff out of ones backside is always recommandable.

Finland spent 3rd most time on PP over the tournament (46:01). Ahead of our guys was USA (49:25) and Sweden (59:21). Out of all people, a Swede should be the last to complain about Finland's PP time.

Of course, Finland was, by and far, the most effective team on power play, converting 37.50% of their chances into goals. In comparison, Sweden only converted 21.88% of all the minutes they got.

Like I said earlier, it's confirmation bias. People think Finland was favored by the refs because our guys were so damn lethal on PP - not because they were called for more often than the rest. If our guys conversion rates had been closer to the rest of the teams, no one would be whining about home refs.
