Led Americans noticeably in ice-time tonight. Shutdown Cousins handily and whoever came down his side.

Lol, I appreciate the persistence. Sanderson just stepped up big and led American's defense to win the Gold. Sanderson was just selected ahead of Drysdale a couple months ago and you're out here saying much, much better.

Drysdale played 25+ minutes and was hung out to dry multiple times including on both goals. He's out there babysitting Byram, who was doing only god knows what on that second goal. Sanderson was better tonight, as was team USA overall, but tournament wise I don't think that it's close. Either way, we're likely going to have to agree to disagree.

Man, there as some salty and upset Canadian fans in here.

Get over it, we lost, and the team wasn't the powerhouse we thought it was.

Humble in victory, gracious in defeat.
After most of the Canadian team have put up good numbers in the NHL it will be obvious how talented this team was.

The "best team ever" scored how many goals in the gold medal game??

No reason for the Canadians to be too down. They had a great tournament. Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win. Our big players showed up today, and Canada's didn't. Thats sport. In times like this, it's important to remember that there are things more important than sport. It was a good distraction for all of us for a few weeks.

Now we all got the NHL to focus on from a hockey perspective in the upcoming months, and hopefully we can have a good season there. Congrats to all teams for a great tournament, and hopefully everyone can remain safe.

Rangers fan knows more than anyone that our best didn't show up. ;)

Why are you trying to tell us that the US was the worse team, that only won because Canada got cocky? I thought the US had a great team that won fair and square.
I think the two teams were fairly even. But US had to go through adversity which humbled them and ultimately was the difference tonight IMO.

Kings fans must be disappointed in their prospect pools performance. Only one who was decent was Turcotte
Not at all Faber was sold a pleasent surprise. Kaiylev was good. Simontaival was good. Byfield was up an down but no different than most of team Canada.

Overall very happy. Kings players did very well

I have no idea what you're implying here. If your team wins, you're superior?

NJ is offering up their sixth rounder for Cozens right now.

That tournament did not make me a Byfield fan, but all the scouting reports did say he is still quite raw. I don't see any reason for Kings fans to be worried though, they drafted him expecting to be the best option a few years down the road, not the best option today.
