Luckily, none of them likely have to make it as singers.... Sorry Canada that you had to listen to that :P

Some of the Canadian fans in here should give their heads a shake.

The team is a bunch of kids and they got beat by a better team on this night.

Shame? Embarrassment? Give me a break.

The entire country is watching them. The US doesn't have that kind of pressure.

The US came out hard and scored the first goal and that's a huge advantage which they exploited.

Canada never really got going until the third and even then, they didn't get a lot of Grade A chances aside from maybe McMichael's breakaway.

Stop bullying a bunch of Canadian kids and start acknowledging how well the US played tonight.

In this tourny

Stutzle > Byfield
Sanderson > Drysdale

Doesn't mean much really, but its nice to see as a Sens fan

With the 4th overall pick in the 2016 draft, the Edmonton Oilers are proud to select, from Karpat of the Finnish League, Jesse Puljujarvi.

Just saying. I know you already acknowledged it, but just emphasizing further (though I think both those picks will be great).

Idk, I watched all 3 loses. I watched the Russia loss.

2010 stings, 2011 we let go, idk 2017 or was it 2018 we blow the lead, today we don’t play awful.

4 gold medal game loses in 11 years, won what 3 of them ?
I think we should have won 2011 and 2018 at home.

today US did earn it, but I can’t say we were beat through and through.

I think the hardest part is that in these games we weren’t beat through and through. That’s why it’s so tough on some posters.
This is sometimes the case with Canada though, go through with no losses to the final and then lose. It's not exactly new. Recently it has been happening more. It's a one game winner take all, so anything can happen really.

Shouldn't be that hard on the kids.

Somewhere in Quebec.
Also, USA played simple hockey, our hockey.

we were way too cute. Like there’s times where we weren’t peppering Knight and we should have.

Also, did the long ass quarantine get to us ? Our guys have all had it harddddddd. Everyone has had to. Anyways, it’s a wrap.

What a tournament for Zegras. Stardom seems all but assured. Obnoxious skill.

Pretty decent game overall, felt it was fairly close. Playing from behind in hockey is a shit deal. Knight and the American defense especially played well. Cozens, Byram, Drysdale, and McMichael just weren't as good as we needed them to be. Still proud of the tourney the Canadians turned in.

Guess you can say that for all of team Canada. Probably most of the American squad too.
Zegras and Byram will be studs. All of Canadas offense looks like spoiled prep school kids. I was talking nice about the Sabres/Cozens for a second, but that regressed after seeing him no-show tonight.

There wasn't any rush chances by Canada. Every chance they got came from sustained pressure, no tips, or rebounds though. They did have plenty of traffic in front but not enough quality chances.
Byram's chance was the best and it came off a rush. Canada had chances, but never capitalised on them I agree, but in a game like today Canada needed a rebound goal and they never had any.
