Congrats to Team USA. Very disappointed with Team Canada. They looked flat, and the Americans were better team all around when it counted. 19 first round picks on Canada, only to get shutout. The most pathetic Silver Medal in Canadian history at this tournament. Canadian fans should not bring up the injury to the Team Captain, or the New York Rangers not releasing Lafreniere. Those are sad excuses from some fans online. Full credit to the US coaching staff on a great game plan. Well done USA.

Why are you hating on the American players? I thought they were a good team and they played a great game. The US won the game. Don't try to frame it as Canada losing the game.

What game were you watching? The Canadian players left it all out on the ice, were working EXTREMELY hard, just couldn’t get through that last line of US D. Knight was great too.

It’s a single game elimination tourney, and the US team was pretty damn talented too. Canada didn’t get the win tonight, but it wasn’t for a lack of effort.

Canadian kids arriving to the rink acting like rockstars looked a little off.
 
USA did to Canada what Canada did to them in the 2014 Olympics.

Ah well, I can't be too mad as a Sens fan, Sanderson is going to be a stud.

I rather lose like this than a lame shootout though. Just simply outplayed tonight. Wish it was a best of 3 lol.

This Team Canada reminds me of that U18 american team a couple years back that set a million records in the tournament but ended up not getting gold with Hughes, Caufield etc etc

Just doesnt have the same ring to it if the team doesnt close the deal.
