Wow... That was just so painful to watch. It's just baffling how terrible all our players looked today. I know we don't have the depth of Canada, but it's just painful to watch our team forecheck with one forward and trap all game long. It looked like we were the ones protecting a lead. We played scared, nothing like our teams in U20 and U18. Hopefully they bring their attitude with them.

No reason to be mad because Canada was clearly better and deserved the win. Finns can't win a tournament without losing one game. Too bad.

Yeah, I'm pretty fine with this too - Canada was just so much better, especially in the 3rd period. In any case it's looking madly good for Finnish hockey in general, so can't really complain - and can't wait to see all our young stars to mature and get even better!

IHF Directorate Awards:
Top forward: Patrik Laine-FIN
Top defenseman Mike Matheson-CAN
Top goaltender Mikko Koskinen-FIN.

In his own home country? And let's not pretend that russian is exactly a small language either...

Uhm, pretty certain his english is absolute garbage. He needed translator with him when he talked with the F1 guys couple weeks ago, in russian.

You have a wonderful team, very young. Wait until next year.

Wonder how Puljujarvi would've fared in this tourney, as much as Aho looked to be a driver in the WJC and WC, I thought Puljujarvi was better in the WJC, would've loved to see what that kid could've done in the WC.
