Because it's your guys' sport. It's literally your thing. You're supposed to be the best, so it's big news when you don't win. It's said every year, it's gold or bust for Canada. No other country expects their teams to win every year. Canada does. Canada. Hockey. Hockey. Canada. Know what I mean? Lol
It also doesn't help that when Canada does lose the excuses just poor out from your fans so you guys get ripped on. For years and years all I've seen and heard is "our talent is so deep we can send our B and C teams and still win gold!" Then when you lose it turns into "we didn't take our best players!!!" So which is it? Hahaha
You should have seen the Canadian crybabies attacking me when I kept shoving it in their faces about the 1980 US Olympic Team winning Gold, despite not having
8-9 of the best NCAA aged peer players, starting with Hall of Famers, Rod Langway
and Joe Mullen. They couldn't handle the fact a US Team with a much shallower
player pool than what they have now in comparison, got it done.
Bunch of ****ing crybabies.
