That's what I mean. Knowing there was no shootout due to the gold medal game rules, they didn't try and force the issue more than necessary and were content to circle around to hold the puck. Forcing the issue because you want to settle it before a shootout often leads to mistakes that create 2 on 1s, breakaways or even 2 on 0s.

Never realized how much Canadians hate USA Hockey until watching the semifinal & gold medal games. Good grief. Where did Team USA touch you?

Fans filled the arena and we're rocking the place. Then at times during 3 on 3 were booing.
OT gold medal on the line an 3 on 3 drew booing from the crowd.
That's says it all about ending at tourney with 3 on 3 gimmick play.
The crowd was actually booing at times.

Man, Rimpinen was robbed of some individual hardware. He willed Finland to its win in the semis and made so many stellar saves in the finals despite his team’s loss.
