Softy of the night is this Brent Berard goal on Joel Hofer



At about 8:38 into this video.

For some reason they don’t have the individual video for this goal up on NHL.com, which I normally use for these.

Not sure if that’s because it’ll be up later and I normally don’t post these until the next day or what. But they don’t have it up right now.

They said it was deflected, but I don’t think that’s why it went in. It was really the only goal worth giving softy of the night to.

I still don't know how that shot beat Markstrom. Markstrom and the shot were both askew.
