Game 3 was maybe the worst playoff game I've seen Vasilevskiy play, at least since the 2019 Columbus series. 3 of the 4 goals in that game stunk on him, but he wasn't that bad last night.
Both he and Tampa have been showing signs of the end being near for a while now, long before the playoffs started. That's why I said, there's gonna be a lot of pink slips in Toronto doesn't win. I think there was going to be even if they didn't lead the series 3-1 like they do now. They're still on the clock over there until Toronto officially wins this series.
I still can't even pick a softy of the night. I have to watch the Georgiev goal again. I can't remember what it looked like, just remember counting it stoppable last night when I reviewed them. The one on Grubauer wasn't that bad. It was 5-hole, but fairly forgivable and I think it may have even been on a broken play.
I thought Brossoit let in not a great first goal. I kind of remember that one. Can't remember if it was worse than Siegenthaler on Shesterkin or not.
I thought the second goal Brossoit allowed was a BAD rebound, but I didn't nail him on it because his teammate (Pietrangelo I think) got control of it and then tried to golf it away and I think he put it in with his hand. Brossoit probably deserves some blame for putting him in a bad position, but I didn't give that a stoppable goal. I went back and forth on that one, as it's a very rare one I haven't seen too often.
EDIT - I f***ed it up. Only 4 goals stoppable, not 5. I accidentally counted something from the other row as one of the goals, even though I only put 4 down, which was correct.
