Yes. And No. Him or Thomas or Schenn (injury) or Parayko or Tank or.. His play was a factor. Avs are damn good team and we needed almost everything to go our way to beat them.So we Lost to Avs, 'cus of Husso?

He offered him a contract, he declined. It's not always f***ing Army's fault. Holy hellShame on you Armstrong
It's a great article. Very cool to see Binner open up like that. Hope he has a bounce back year and can find the balance between love/anger.JR with excellent article on Binny today. For all his limitations, JR is really good at the type of stories.
I don't subscribe to The Athletic, but your short description of the article speaks volumes. It's a great article. Very cool to see Binner open up like that. Hope he has a bounce back year and can find the balance between love/anger.
To summarize the article, Binny said he always used his desire to prove folks wrong/anger at being underestimated to fuel him. But after making NHL, winning Cup, getting big $, etc.. he had nothing to be angry about. He had proven himself. So he struggled to find new way to focus.I don't subscribe to The Athletic, but your short description of the article speaks volumes.
There was a recent article on STLToday in which DA spoke about goaltenders and that there are not many great goaltenders right now and that that is partly why scoring has increased.
I'll take that a step further.
We fans consistently attribute long-term, successful goaltending to mental stability. I agree.
I'm willing to wager that the greatest goaltenders are able to compartmentalize their emotional issues. In other words, they've largely dealt with their respective traumas or other childhood baggage. They have a strong sense of self and identity/ego and are able to transcend their ego in order to manifest what it is they want.
So far, we got a Cup. No matter how much we’ve paid, it’s worth it.I'll believe it when Binny proves it. He has to prove he's worth his contract this year.
This would be true if we got Cup during his contact. But we haven’t. So judged solely on his play under this contract, he hasn’t lived up yet.So far, we got a Cup. No matter how much we’ve paid, it’s worth it.
He got that contract for hoisting the Cup.This would be true if we got Cup during his contact. But we haven’t. So judged solely on his play under this contract, he hasn’t lived up yet.
