The thing about Jovo was it was one or the other. He could be a defensive stalwart, like he was for Team Canada in 2002 - but that meant no offense. Or, he could be a huge offensive driver from the back end - but that meant complete defensive liability. He never did find the balance between the two.

He could be the most entertaining player on the team, and its most frustrating. I do think he tends to get a bit underrated, though.

Also, the latter part of his Canucks tenure was he kept on getting hurt. Groin injuries plagued him 2003-2004 and 2005-2006 season.

FYI, it’s an afternoon game so people with young children can attend with them. Abbotsford Canucks do this on Family Day.

It's not weird, his days here are likely numbered, this is one less game where we get to see him play for the Canucks. It's just fun going into every game knowing he might just bully a team.
