It will be interesting. My expectation would be for him to continue with his weekly prospect reports, probably one-on-one interviews, etc. Probably less PR-focused and more what he's already doing now. They already have Kate Pettersen doing the fluff pieces so there's no reason to bring him on just to do more of those.

These 'first game back from a long road trip' are always hard to predict..The Canucks had a fairly dominant game against Nashville, hope they build off of that.

There's also the distinct possibility of them delivering a clunker as well.

I got used to the fencing Harry Neale did with the newspapers answering questions to the subtle digs the local papers and tv stations did. Quinn changed all that where he believed the presses' job was to support the team and the team loved him for it. Burke handled the media because Quinn was impossible. I hated Burke for being such a schill until Burke was in charge and I discovered he was a lawyer doing his job.
This is different because he's not management.

the term "video scouts" is interesting. i don't recall anyone identified as such or fitting that description on the canucks scouting staff.

i have always assumed teams buy isolation video packages on players from freelancers. if not, that would seem to be a huge business opportunity.
