It’s been bad for a long while, but making Adams the GM was, to me, the final move that showed no one cares. Sad, really
There's a difference between not caring and being completely clueless. Pegula is the guy is that thinks he understands what it takes when he is actually clueless. He definitely at least cares about making money and that requires winning in Buffalo. That said, I actually thinks he cares about trying to make the team good he just has absolutely no clue what he is doing.

I like the Buffaslug because I associate it with an extremely dominant team.
The Buffaslug is objectively over-hated and the jerseys just needed a template shift.

Bring back the Buffaslug.

The goathead should be it. The change Barney Rubble's hairpiece was the beginning of the end
I personally think the Sabres should have a sword related logo and not a Bison.

Sooooooo, Buffalo will soon be looking for a new GM. I hear this guy wants another crack at it.

What is the record for losts in a row?
I would bet my Oilers will end their streak, they play them in a month 😅

I'm now convinced they will get the #1 pick and they will draft Shaefer.

Be the anti oilers/Leafs in picks style

Regardless, their only way out is to continue to get assets from the draft and plugging away. Do more trades like the Savoie-McLeod deal, to avoid a loss of player value with log jam. Maybe see if there's a way to bring in a veteran that way, like the Sharks did with getting Ceci (yes I have Oiler examples lol). But maybe sell off a bigger piece than Emberson and get someone better than Ceci.

I wonder if there is a key veteran like Andersson to balance out all the LD. Just overpay him this summer in a way that people will laugh at it. That and some cheap veterans might be enough. The rule in this league is parity. The Sabres have so much good on their team. The mix is just wrong

Definitely think the Sabres should trade their 1st if they can get an elite player for a potential 1st overall. Have no interest in picking there

The Sabres are too young. They don't have enough leadership or experience to be successful. Only 2 players (Reimer, 36 and Zucker, 32) over the age of 30. Sam Lafferty is the 3rd oldest player at 29.

Surrounding your young players with no veteran leadership is a formula for failure.

Almost pointless making a trade now that will only ruin the club’s chances for a top five pick. If making a deal, get prospects and picks. Then use gained draft capital and prospects to build a better club in the off season.

Vegas looks to be the team with a chance at helping Buffalo break the current record of 18 straight. But maybe Buffalo will continue to lose so Oilers can start the reverse streak for them.
