he is lower event than myers, but miller is better when he is not bad.

myers is like a one man zone defence. in spite of his bad plays his size, reach, skating and strength makes him overall more effective than he looks.. but all you remember are the bad plays.

Myres is nowhere near as bad as people say on this board. He had several good shots on the net tonight.

I do. He is capable of massive brain farts but he also often plays a boring but decent game. He cannot handle too many minutes though; his brain turns to mush. I love his nickname as well...

If Myers was a no name 3rd pairing journeyman D making $1.5m a year, I think people wouldn't pick on him so much. He's overpaid and as a result is getting overplayed and over-matched in the ice. Off the ice he's getting over analysed by fans hyper-focused on him because he's overpaid.

Anyway I'm over him and can't wait until his contract is over.

he had a rough start in his own right and the way the season has gone for the team he's completely demoralized. very tough year for both him and oel personally however you feel about them on the ice.

Management f'ed up by not trading him last year after a good patch.

I think they hired a decent coach for a rebuilding team. I'm not sure they are rebuilding though.

That was half-assed effort by the Rangers but still good enough. Canucks clearly out-played them at many points but the defensive breakdowns, when they came, were grievous. Silovs carried on in the tradition of Delia and Martin. That was enough to ensure defeat.

Good

Kuzmenko - let it be resolved that he is top six and is permanently attached to Pettersson. Showed off his offensive skills in this one.

Garland - another good effort .Should be permanently attached to Miller. Don't understand why every coach needs to try to re-invent the wheel and why they bringing out the mixer like it will somehow change things. Let lines gain an identity and some continuity.

Hughes - back to playing him to death to stay competitive. Bear and him were the best in the back end and in producing some offense.

Not Good

Silovs - very shaky - needs to quickly get back to Abby rather than having any confidence destroy up here.

Boeser - did he play? Honestly did he play?

Others

Miller - provided some push offensively and scored a nice goal but didn't get back in defensive coverage a few times leading to critical goals against. He is a wing and not a center.

Podkolzin - just not solidly enough in the play. Some flashes but overall a disappointment this year.

Joshua - played big at times but after a good start fell out of the play. Maybe should be more used on the PK

Pettersson - did little in the first two periods but had a good third. Still produces even when not at his best.

OEL - looks like injury may be serious. Hasn't been very good this season but loss should contribute to the tank

Lazar - and just when he was starting to display some of his awesome offensive game. Doubt he will be missed but too bad Abby will be further depleted.

Appears the team has just enough anchors to compete in the fight for the bottom in the lottery race. However, Demko does loom in the background.
