So... Is the thought process to tank this season and try again next year? I could see management going for that - especially if they miraculously get Bedard.

How the f*** do they fix the defense though. Hughes is the only noteworthy defensemen lol

Demko had a 3.93 GAA and .883 SV % in 15 games this season...

Here's hoping be picks up where he left off.
I am absolutely not hoping for that.

Just split his games so he doesn’t overdo the work load, but I hope he comes back and looks like regular Demko.

Although with how bad things look this year, regular demko might only muster a .895 lol

I’m pretty sure Tocchet only knows like 5 key buzz phrases. His treatment (“coaching”?) of offensive players and pigeonholing them and holding them back is a pattern.

No need to worry, only have to be subjected to Tocchets’s grandstanding, rolling eyes, buzzwords, and fake coaching for a mere 3 years

A perfect tank result tonight. Canucks score four times and give up six....so a relatively close loss. And Arizona wins in OT against Tampa and passes the Canucks in the standings.

I think there's a real chance they could also be reeled in by San Jose before the season limps to a close. That would leave them with the fourth best odds in the Bedard sweepstakes.

Only thing disappointing about tonight's result, is that you'd have thought the Canucks would have put in a far more diligent defensive effort in front of their rookie goaltender. But unfortunately they hung him out to dry again tonight.

he is lower event than myers, but miller is better when he is not bad.

myers is like a one man zone defence. in spite of his bad plays his size, reach, skating and strength makes him overall more effective than he looks.. but all you remember are the bad plays.
Myres is nowhere near as bad as people say on this board. He had several good shots on the net tonight.
