OK, I’m gonna be negative for a second.

Debrusk honestly looks worse every game, and if there’s no injury, what’s going on here?

He is not skating fast at all, what did he do in the offseason?

He’s not even hitting.

I'm...honestly not sure what you're watching here. He's moving fast. He's clearly just playing a bit of a tentative game where he seems to be having a bit of trouble really integrating into the systems here.

He's been pretty darn good overall and especially as a defensive presence. He's just not scoring a ton. Which is obviously disappointing.

Yeah I take that back, Debrusk has been fine. People are upset he isn't scoring.

From the Bruins forum re: Zadorov so far:

"Dude is playing like a legit #3. Love him in our jersey."

"I actually think 5m is pretty cheap."
People have taken equally large sample sizes of comments talking about how annoying he is taking penalties and is overpaid.

Game by game restrospectives of a deal that's 6 years long 10 games in aren't worth anything.

I suspect he would also be a goat here if he were caved in next to Soucy or VD.

To be fair...the Bruins are f***ing stacked on defence. Lohrei is playing like 16 minutes a game and he'd easily be the third best defenceman on our team.

Silovs isn’t an NHL goalie right now, he needs to go back to the AHL the moment demko is healthy to refine his game.

The Canucks have played completely uninspired hockey today, but that doesn’t excuse a 75% save percentage.

Lankinen is keeping this team a float. Otherwise this team relies heavily on Demko. Our defense is atrocious. Soucy has taken a few steps back. Myers is back to chaotic. Other than Hughes and Hronek, the rest are a bunch of scrubs. No kidding Allvin is on the phones early, the D is a major weak point and most of us fans knew that from the start.

Debrusk and Heinen are not pulling their weight either.

As for Pete, everything's been said by others already. I'll just add this: he should know that as someone cashing in 11.6 mil a year, the light is rightfully on him. It is still not too late to pick up the slack but with every limp dick performance, the magnifying glass's focal point will shift. Little by little, at some point, he will have to face the hard questions head on.

Something has to give with the power play. I was reading @Vector’s summary of Tocchet’s post practice interview and really didn’t like his response when asked about the PP - implied that the struggles have nothing to do with coaching and that it has a “really good structure”. The power play has been anemic since he took the reins and it’s disheartening to hear him abdicate responsibility. With our personnel and talent there’s just no excuse for it to be this ineffective at generating attempts.

Everyone stands still except the players at the point who sometimes switch spots.
