Not sure what the f*** you are talking about @Wondercarrot

I don’t think that has anything to do with my response. Someone else inferred that the mainstream media would start trashing PD.

Weird you need to turn it into something else

If Wally wants to vlog about how much he hates the team… so be it. Vloggers can do it. Just be cognizant that he has a personal vendetta.

He is persona non grata, and that is a fact. Takes a lot to be excommunicated.

And it wasn’t the organization that got him in that position. That’s a fact.

that’s nice. I think it was pretty f****** clear.
Have a great day.

Spencer makes a good point here. Its good that Dorion has given it some honest reflection. Now I have to admit I am pretty sympathetic towards him losing sleep and tossing and turning and keeping his wife/gf up. I would like to see him canned and called out in detail for the absolutely miserable job he's done as the GM of this team,

Absolute Bullshit right here.

He drafted Getzlaf, Perry, Penner Sbisa. Found Mcdonald, Kunitz and Hutchinson as college free agents. Had Rob Niedermayer in Florida brought him in which lead to Scott coming. He brought in O'Donnell Paulson and Moen. The only thing Burke did was get Pronger who was in the middle of a scandal with the assets that Murray assembled. You are both lying in this thread and making things up all I one thread with innacuracies and lies.

Muckler failed to bring this team to the next level. Horrid asset management with Havlat and Chara. Despicable draft record see Brian Lee. His best acquisition was Vaclav Varada. The Hossa Heatley trade was Muckler. He inherited a championship level team from Mashall Johnston. This included Hossa, Alfie, Havlat, Bonk, Arvidsson, White, Redden, Phillips, Chara, Volchenkov, Rachunek. All in their primes. He left Bryan with empty cupboards in terms of prospects and limited assets. He deserved to move on and Bryan's proven track record to build a winner was the next step. The last part of your post is completely made up. Don't post garbage like that and pass it off as fact without proof. Get your facts straight. This is Melnyks mess blaming Bryan Murray is not only wrong but outrageous.
Your seriously giving Murray credit for one of Burke’s free agent signings? Burke also brought back Selanne and put together that shut down 3rd line with Moen and Pahlson that was so affective in the playoffs.

Simmer going nuts on Morion this morning

I don't blame him for losing it. It's mostly because of Dorion's cheerleading club who simply refuse to accept reality and have made it their goal to defend him at all cost though. At some point you have to clear things up, even as a media personality.

Simmer left out Covid and injuries. Hard to take serious his comments without addressing those two major issues.
Bringing up injuries is even more damning to Dorion. Your rookie with 12 games experience and your other center quickly falling out of favor got injured. And you “5th center” (wtf is that) got injured. It really only highlights that they had no plan at C. What if pinto hit a wall (likely) what if white continued his poor play (likely). Would that have been acceptable excuses to?

like rraaalllllllyyy. If only we had Clark Bishop right.

YEOOOOOOOOOO im cryinnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg

this guy said our 5th centre

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. My guy referenced fifth centre. He really referenced Clarke Bishop for our current position. I cannot fathom this.

I am legit in shock. What happened to this guy? He was much more well put together before this incessant garbage spewing from his mouth.

Also, someone tell him his 2nd line C who got injured is really a 3rd line C. His 3rd line C is barely a 3rd line C. And no one in the history of the game has quoted the 5th line C as a factor in anything.

Dorion is so gutless. He can't even admit to his obvious failures without also pointing a finger at the players.

Pierre, my man, the only reason you still have a job is because your boss is too cheap to fire you, much less find a GM that is good enough to get paid pro-level money.

When was he ever "well put together"? He's been an embarrassment to this org ever since he started as GM.

makos Burke traded Fedorov and brought in the coach. Fans here pretend Murray would of done all those things.

you wonder if the media availability wasn’t great because Dorion calls a news conference on Saturday afternoon when most media aren’t at the stadium. Might just be coincidence or might be by petty design - but if you want the media to be there give them more notice and do it during the week.

That is 100% by design. It's well known that pro orgs avoid media coverage/pressure by doing these things on the weekend. The Habs do it all the time.

When the season began; The season hinged on that very slim just measurable difference between Bishop and Shaw and a rookie that they were contemplating sending to the AHL. Norris, Tierney who they were playing up the lineup, and Colin White.
Did not seem like much of a plan... Its a weak place to start with no contingency in case there are injuries.

Dorion's roster evaluation capabilities on full display again. When we lost Methot .. anybody can be EK's partner . so we got Oduya.. We traded our 1st rounder (4OA) +++ for Duchene with 2 years left.. We get virtually next to nothing for Stone. This guy has been bru-fn-tal for his entire tenure as GM here. 1st he hired Boucher who is structure + to a fault , then he hires DJ who has no idea what structure is to be the coach of a young completely uninsulated team who get shelled on a regular basis and who thinks Zaitsev is an elite defender.

There is no accountability. All the signs of failure are there. How bad does it have to get?

Yeah essentially it.

replace bishop with Shaw/gambrell. Essentially a nothing swap.

white replaced with tierney. Not much diff last two years.
And rookie out.
This shouldn’t mean season over.

Yeah if they thought that center depth was anything more than bottom of the standings worthy, even when fully healthy, they're really bad at assessing things. He can blame injuries all he wants but having a rookie come in and be your #2C right away with zero insulation is how you ruin players, and lo and behold, the kid got injured. And even with White in the lineup, we're probably still nowhere higher than 29-30th in the standings.

He's outright ruining these kids right now. How can Melnyk not see this and just put him on a train out of Ottawa?

A lot of the players on this team have under performed compared to the 2nd half of last season. The players, coaches and me, we all have to be better.

LOL

Oh man, not only can you just not go off script whatsoever, you can't even read properly. I said he is SPREADING the blame around. I didn't say he was completely placing it on the players and coaches.

You might want to take a break from doing this before you hurt yourself.

Who’s underperformened?

second half of last year when we were playing garbage games in the Canadian division lol. I wouldn’t expect a pro GM to put ANY weight on that time honestly. The fact that he thought that play would just continue is pretty damning in itself. Is that why he did nothing to improve us? Scary.
