Still the same.how are you feeling now?

And these young guys helped keep this team in the playoff hunt, let’s not forget that and give credit where it is due. I know everyone has extremely short memories here.Failed to get a goalie when our top 2 went down.
That's 2-3 wins lost. Goalies have cost us last few games.
2021/2022 FYOUS... we are at 22/23.. 2 years later. If by 2022/2023 the playoffs where not a mission, what?????And these young guys helped keep this team in the playoff hunt, let’s not forget that and give credit where it is due. I know everyone has extremely short memories here.
And cost us what exactly? Their mission this year was never playoffs. Playoffs were always a bonus in the eyes of management. Chychrun was not a trade to make the playoffs. If they do, it’s a bonus. He is here as a long term piece, as are all acquisitions.
Lol @ falling for the FYOUS timeline, maybe not be as gullible on some of the talking heads.2021/2022 FYOUS... we are at 22/23.. 2 years later. If by 2022/2023 the playoffs where not a mission, what?????
Judge me on next year: DJ late in the 21/22 season.
the hard part is done: 2019.. The rebuild is over: 2020
Flowery terms that are ridiculously ambiguous: Meaningful games... is idiotic.
You are a business man.. Are you okay with a contractor saying; I will start Mondayish and finish Thursdayish and it will cost some value.. not tooo much, not too little. How about he says," well I did not fix the parking lot, but we learned. The next parking lot I do for you will be way better. This 1/2 million dollar project was a learning experience."
The business man thing is a bad analogy. But I get that the FYOUS was missed. The funny thing is everyone hates the buffoon, rest in peace, but you all cling to the FYOUS like crazy. So f***ing what.2021/2022 FYOUS... we are at 22/23.. 2 years later. If by 2022/2023 the playoffs where not a mission, what?????

Yes, I love this team. Warts and all. Another fan who thinks that born leaders always win. All the time. Oh no! Young players struggling with pressure! What to do what to do.So you’re the 10th worst team in the NHL after trading away 2 years of draft picks, maxing salary, your team complexly collapses in a playoff run after your GM calls Sogaard “an NHL goalie” and he’s letting in 5 goals a game.
This isn’t good, this is a terrible performance mass choke job on an aupff hunt but the players are nice so we thinks it’s good.
Talbot was healthy at the deadline, but getting someone like Stalock for cheap could have done wonders. Oh well.
I want Dorion replaced no two ways about it but like others have mentioned Talbot was healthy at the deadline. Hated the initial trade for him but he was apparently ok at the time.
Which ones? I honestly can't think of one during this skid.
Colorado was on the ref. Last night the sens missed too many chances. Only goal I didn't like was the Marner one but he's a star and it was on the pp.
Rest of the games the sens were outplayed or didn't score.

I think you would love the Harlem Globetrotters. Always guaranteed a fun time and a win.
We will be juuuuuust fine. Take Tavares out of the Leafs lineup all season. Take Zibanejad. Take Aho. Oh wait, there is one team that has lost their No. 1 Center , Washington. Where are they in the standings? Give your head a shake
So like last season going into this season - the plan was you add Sanderson, stir and enjoy success.
So next season we add Norris. Stir and enjoy success?
What if Sanderson, Brady or Batherson gets injured? Just be content with another bottom 10 finish?
do you have a sure fired plan to prevent players from getting injured?
If your answer is yes, WTF are you doing wasting your time on these boards…. There are 32 NHL that would hire you, and your expertise immediately…. Heck you could even get your name engraved on the Stanley Cup this Spring!
And what if Reilly, Marner and Nylander get hurt? Find another team in the playoffs that lost their No.1 center the whole season. How are they doing? So like last season going into this season - the plan was you add Sanderson, stir and enjoy success.

FYOUS was reasonable. The business man thing is a bad analogy. But I get that the FYOUS was missed. The funny thing is everyone hates the buffoon, rest in peace, but you all cling to the FYOUS like crazy. So f***ing what.
I would rather the path they have taken instead of trying to meet this stupid FYOUS deadline from Melnyk
read up one postLol @ falling for the FYOUS timeline, maybe not be as gullible on some of the talking heads.
I’ve heard that relationship may not be so great.I don't know about that. I've had my criticisms of Dorion but Alfie knows first-hand how much his hands were tied by ownership when he was here.
Oh boyFYOUS was reasonable.
2017-2018 collapse and immediate selling of assets and crazy acts.. Year 1 of rebuild, really.... It is not like they instantly appeared.
2015 draft...2 first rounders, 2 second rounders (one of which was a climb to get)
2016 draft.. 11th overall in first round
2017 draft 2 kids that were hits
2018 draft 2 first rounders and a mid table 2nd
does all of that get erased? FYOUS should have been real and should have been fulfilled.. A competent team should have lived by that schedule.
Smarter trades (Stone... for Brann!!!! f***ing really), should have meant an up tick. One idiot trade after another, one idiot FA signing after another.
2015-2021 is 6 years.....
the 2011, 12 ands 13 drafts all had high picks.. all are of players young enough to either be here or be used more wisely in trades.
This team has so fumbled things, it is a joke. They never aged out of success (Chicago or Pitts.), they f***ed up out of success.

Norris isn’t, nor ever was a number 1 centre, and he certainly isn’t or ever will be the caliber of player Tavares is, let alone Aho or Zibanejad. Norris is on the same level as a Turris. A great 2C. Our team would have done better with him, but no where close to the impact of Tkachuk or Stutzle going down.Yes, I love this team. Warts and all. Another fan who thinks that born leaders always win. His contract was not great when it was offered, and likely not going to age well. One of the few mistakes Dorion has made over to last couple of years.

Norris shot over 20%. That’s not sustainable for a guy like him, and definitely not when better players eat his minutes. That was a really Random Comment.
Norris is way better than Turris already and had 35 goals in just 66 games which paces in the top percentile in the league in terms of goal scoring.
I don't think he'll have the impact of Tkachuk or Stutzle either but he's a weapon on the PP, great at ES on both sides of the ice and is definitely a 1B center, arguably more if he continues building on last season.
Probably our most underrated forward because he isn't as flashy as the others.

Had Dorion not traded for Talbot; Ottawa might've been securely in a Playoff spot.
Everyone in here would be clamoring of his brilliance. He would probably go on to win "GM of the year" award and be praised by the media.
Alas, it's not in his cards to get those accolades. That doesn't make him a bad GM. Just an ordinary one.
Bowness, 39, came up through the Thrashers/Jets organization before rising up the ranks in Pittsburgh for six years, becoming the Penguins director of pro scouting. But when Ron Hextall was hired, he didn't promote Bowness, which had him looking for opportunities elsewhere. He found a match in Ottawa.
"First, he's just a great person. But the Senators absolutely love him," one respondent said. "Pierre Dorion leans on him heavily. He's been a huge asset to their organization over the last year." Bowness is the son of Winnipeg Jets coach Rick Bowness.
